Who can order it

Anyone who shows ID and signs the affirmation. You may use the list only for elections, political activities or law enforcement (25 Pa.C.S. §§ 1207(b) and 1404), and you may not publish it on the Internet (4 Pa. Code §§ 183.13(g) and 183.14(k)). A false statement is punishable as unsworn falsification to authorities.

Tips before you order

One $20 order covers any county or all counties, so there is no reason to buy county by county from the state.
Use the district code file to translate the numbered district columns into names like your school district, borough or ward.
Voting history is stored as Election 1 through Election 40. Match those columns to real dates with the election map file for your county.
The file includes inactive voters. Filter on voter status if you only want active voters.
Phone numbers are included when voters gave them. Many are blank, so collect numbers at the door and record them in CampaignKnock as you go.
