How to Get an Alaska Voter List for Your Campaign

Find your district. Check your qualifying paperwork or your county elections office for the exact district, ward or precinct your race covers.
Order the matching list from the Alaska Division of Elections. Contact any Division of Elections office (the Juneau director's office or a regional office) and ask for a voter list for your precincts or House district. Anyone may apply, and you pay the fee to the state. Use the table below to pick the right list.

Who can order it

Any person may get a copy of all or part of the list by applying to the Director of Elections and paying the fee (AS 15.07.127). Birth dates, voter ID numbers and other identifiers are confidential and are never released (AS 15.07.195).

Tips before you order

Lists are organized by precinct, so use the Division's district and precinct maps to find every precinct that overlaps your city, borough assembly seat or school district, then trim addresses outside your boundary.
Ask for the list of who voted in recent elections too. The Division keeps a separate list of everyone who voted in each election, available to any person for a fee (AS 15.15.400).
Some voters keep their residence address confidential and give only a mailing address, so a few records will have a PO box you cannot knock.
Phone numbers are not included. Collect them at the door and record them in CampaignKnock as you go.
